Hey new friends & future collaborators. My name is Krystian "Gino" Byrd a all around creative from Los Angeles, CA that specializes in photography and film making from production to post production.

 

Drawing from years of experience across film, commercial, and documentary work, Krystian’s process blends technical precision with an intuitive sense of atmosphere. From the clean tonal depth of RED Komodo X cinematography to the refined texture of DaVinci Resolve color workflows, every project is an exercise in sculpting light and motion into narrative rhythm.

His creative direction extends beyond cinematography encompassing dynamic editing, color science, and visual development that align with brand identity while maintaining cinematic integrity. Krystian has led productions for a variety of clients & even some spec work including On Running, Nike USA athlete Allyson Felix, High Brew Coffee, and Oakcha Perfume. Non the less has another side of the spectrum which is narrative work spanning short films, documentaries, and independent features.

What defines his work isn’t just the image, but the feeling behind it. Whether on set or in post, I tend to focus on emotive storytelling, precision lighting, and cohesive color design that resonate across genres. from high-end brand campaigns to intimate character studies.

Every frame I capture aims to feel intentional, cinematic, and human which in turn is my visual conversation between light, lens, and emotion.
